Spoke with Shayne regarding a 2025 Maverick Lobo. Great guy! Very professional, transparent, knowledgeable, and represents Stauffer extremely well.
Only 2 dealerships have the exact trim I like (Velocity blue, 702A, + black Turbofan rims), within a 400km radius. 3 other dealerships had a Lobo, but not the exact trim.
Called Stauffer first, spoke to Shayne, and he broke down the pricing. I believe it was a 9-minute conversation, and all my questions were completely answered with no high pressure sales tactics. 10/10. I would have absolute confidence in doing business with them.
Unrelated, next I spoke to another dealership, who I will not name, nor will I leave a negative review because we all have bad days… they were $1400 over MSRP. When I asked what kind of value I’d be receiving for the additional $1400 (PPF, wheels, locks, tire/rim, etc.), I was ridiculed and berated for even DARING to ask for a breakdown over the phone without sending them my driver’s licence first and credit application… he didn’t even let me talk at all, he just kept insulting me, slammed his phone down, but it didn’t hang up properly, so I listened while they talked smack about me for a minute until they realized the phone was still hot, lmao.
Moral of the story is, Shayne at Stauffer was able to address all of my questions with no issues while building rapport, exuding professionalism, and representing Stauffer in a positive light. While their competitor made themselves look so bad and will never receive my business or a referral from me as long as I live.
Sorry for the rant. Great job, Shayne and Stauffer Motors! If I decide to commit to the sale, you have earned my business.
